What is auction sniping? |
| "Sniping" is the smart way to purchase online auction items. In simple terms, Bidbullet places your bid automatically for you at the last possible moment. “sniping” all previous bidders. Neat huh? |
 |
Why snipe? |
| Because you want to win; you need to win; you want to be the E'bay winning God that your friends and neighbours both envy and adore and you want the best price . The bottom line is that sniping saves you money , and also time since you don't need to be at your computer when the auction ends, you can be doing something else instead. Because sniping eliminates competitive bidding, your winning bid will be much lower than if you used traditional bidding methods. |

Do eBay allow sniping? |
Oh Yes…. Sniping is not playing dirty - it's playing smart. eBay's proxy bidding system works the same regardless of when a bid is placed. Any bid received by eBay before the auction ends is valid and legally binding. Seller's on eBay generally don't discourage sniping either, as long as their item sells they are happy!
See this page for eBay official stance on last second bidding. |
