08/15/2006 - Ebay 'Shop' owners blockade
We saw an item on BBC teletext which made us laugh....

Apparently, some 100 UK based eBay traders had themselves a little embargo, protesting about the recent price hikes in advertising costs from 3p to 11p

percentagewise it's a lot, we agree,.......but

Surely, the costs of opening and running a high street shop, with staff, rent, rates, gas, electricity etc etc are astronomical in comparision......eBay is a 24 hour shop where you can get your goods in front of a global audience for pennies........

That's our rant for today.......eBay is fab
